Problem solving is what I do for clients. Recently, I had several projects that at first glance seemed overwhelming to solve. Or, I thought a new viewpoint would help move things in a different direction. Or keep things moving at all.
How do you approach and solve a situation that seems insurmountable? Me, I take a step back. Breathe. Break the project into smaller segments. Here is a format that often works for me that you can use for many tasks.
I physically write or type out the following, first in a rough draft:
Then I review and adjust, after putting it aside for a little while.
There are many books and tools created, to help tackle projects. Part 2 of this post will discuss other methods that I also use to help better understand a project.
