Last week our family put together a couple bags of food to donate to our local food pantry.  On a whim, I sent an email to about 12 of my nearby friends, asking if they had a few items they could donate.  What an incredible response we had!  After my kids picked up all the items from front porches (wearing disposable gloves), our collection completely filled a bin at the food pantry.  

It was one small way we could help neighbors in need. We have also seen businesses working, collaborating with competitors, pivoting from their primary focus, to help other businesses in need. It’s been pretty amazing, but it is very daunting what our world is facing right now.

We will come out of 2020 different, but hopefully stronger and more resilient. My hope is that if we work together, think creatively, remain flexible, the outcome will be greater than we expect, overflowing many blue bins.
